EA Associates are working with a well-established construction contractor based in Colchester who are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to support projects across Essex, Suffolk and the surrounding region.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects. You will take ownership of the company's health and safety function, ensuring compliance across multiple live sites while promoting a positive safety culture throughout the business.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Carrying out site inspections and audits across construction and civil engineering projects\n\n * Producing reports and ensuring corrective actions are implemented\n\n * Providing guidance and support to site teams on all health and safety matters\n\n * Reviewing RAMS, policies and procedures\n\n * Delivering toolbox talks and health & safety training where required\n\n * Investigating incidents and implementing preventative measures\n\n * Ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation and industry best practice\n\nRequirements:\n\n * NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)\n\n * Previous experience within the construction and / or civil engineering sectors\n\n * Strong knowledge of current HSE legislation\n\n * Excellent communication and organisational skills\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\n * Competitive salary and package\n\n * Company vehicle or allowance\n\n * Long-term career opportunity with a growing regional contractor\n\nFor more information, please contact EA Associates for a confidential discussion
